Nissan Navara
The Nissan Navara is now a genuine contender against the Ranger. To be fair the old Navara wasn’t as good and didn’t tow enough but it now does 3.5 tonnes and has all the right kit on it. And if its good enough for Mercedes to copy with the X Class then it can’t be bad.
For some people the half leather and orange seating in the Wildtrak doesn’t work. If you want full leather and a plush interior then the Navara is great. The downside with Navara is that all options are effectively dealer fitted so for tow bars and roller shutters, load liners and mud flaps you have to add them as you see fit.
It does make it very flexible though in terms of choosing the cover that works for you. We also like the fact that there is no sports bar as standard. They do work out a little cheaper than the Ranger Wildtrak though as Ford have become a little greedy with the price as the Ranger popularity has risen.
The specification of the Navara is impressive. It comes with 6 Speakers, USB Port, CD Player, AUX Input Socket for External MP3 Player, Steering Wheel Mounted Audio Controls, Automatic Air Conditioning with Dual Zone Climate Control, Electric Folding Heated Door Mirrors, Pollen Filter, Rear Privacy Glass, LED Door Mirror Indicators, Side Steps, Front Fog Lights With Chrome Surround, Automatic Dimming Rear View Mirror, Leather Steering Wheel, Leather Gear Knob, Push Start Button, LED Headlights, LED Daytime Running Lights, Automatic Headlights With Follow Me Home Function, Roof Rails, Cruise Control, Hill Start Assist.
We hold the Tekna auto as stock, as they are difficult to source in the right colours, but we can also supply any Navara. Just ask.
