Martini WRC
Well, we did the Martini WRC Ford Ranger Wildtrak just for the hell of it. It is based on the Ford World Rally Car special edition Ranger from many years ago. We wanted to see how we could wrap and sign write a vehicle to a specific design. We are pretty proud of this one and it worked well as a demonstration of what could be done with the ‘Limited’ model as well as with wrapping.
Although we supply hundreds of Ranger vehicles, the majority start life as a Wildtrak, even if they are ‘be-spoked’ and ‘designed’ by the customer. The Martini WRC Edition started life as a Ranger Limited 3.2 200ps auto with Sat Nav and Reverse Camera. The signwriting was carried out by Stevenage Signs, who we use for all of our signage requirements. The vehicle was Performance Blue and then wrapped to incorporate the white and signage required.
We had a Max Highline sports tonneau cover and BedRug fitted by Autostyling. We think the cover seriously complements the look of the vehicle and many a customer’s Ranger has since had a cover the same, based on them viewing the Martini WRC.
Since we completed this vehicle we have even taken enquiries from enthusiasts around the UK who were looking to spruce up their old WRC models from Ford and weren’t sure where to get the livery from. We are always happy to help fellow Ranger enthusiasts, even if we are not directly supplying something.
